Summary: Jimmy Reardon and Mary Spalding head their respective organizations, Mary as Director of the Organized Crime Unit, Jimmy the boss of his family's organized crime business. Unexpectedly, Mary successfully recruits Jimmy to act as her star individual in the OCU's underground intelligence network on organized crime. However, it's a two-way street as she needs to provide Jimmy with inside information on police knowledge of his businesses. Both Mary and Jimmy need to tread lightly in their relationship while they try and maintain a grip hold on their respective businesses.

Summary: I would give it 4 just for the old school computer game stuff that happens as you choose episodes and for small areas of attention to computer geek detail that occur. Or I may give it 4 because the writer Graham Linehan also reviewed it and corrected an error in a review, in its self funny. It is not perfect and its a bit slapstick in the way Red Dwarf is, but it is funny and it gets better the more you see. You cant judge it on the odd episode but the series as a whole. The next series should be much better but if you are a geek, or maybe like computers a bit too much, like Chris Morris, red Dwarf, Hyperdrive, Father ted then you will like this. The DVD is good as a product in iots own and it a million miles better than a lot of chaff that maks the screens. I would maybe say the word cult perhaps. download version 1.0 now.

Summary: Graham Linehan here, writer of 'The It Crowd'. I just wanted to assure everyone that the DVD problems mentioned by some reviewers here have been fixed. We had a technical report back recently which says that there are no longer any compatibility issues and it plays on all players. They are running off new stock now and it will be ready by 31st Oct. If you want to be really safe, don't put your orders in until then.

In the meantime, however, if you do have one of the afflicted DVDs, please bear in mind this very simple fix. Using your remote control, turn the subtitles on, then off again. After that, it should play normally. THIS IS NOT A GAG. It really does work.
